Tuesday was tour-day. Although we’d already had our fair share of information about Ostend thanks to Thijmen and Caro who were willing to give us a presentation about it, we also headed outside and decided to explore Ostend ourselves. The Belgian pupils had been split into groups to each give the Romanians some information regarding our city.

It was amusing and it gave us a chance to talk with the Romanians as we were walking through town. Loads of photos were taken, pretty much at every stop where we’d give a small presentation on several topics -- such as the history of Ostend but also nightlife and tourism.

Of course it wasn’t all just about Ostend. The Romanian pupils also gave us an elaborate presentation about their city--Brasov.

 

This day we basically learned a whole lot about each other’s cities through a very elaborate presentation and also through a city tour. It wasn’t only a chance to learn something new but also a chance to really socialise with each other as we were having a walk.
